Introduction:
As I start this blog with the intention to write about many different topics and share with you my experiences, first I wanted to let you meet not only the woman I am today but the little girl I once was and give you insights into different life stages.
Also, I want to share with you my future self or at least what I am aiming for.
This one is going to be a long one.
Let us dive in...
Who I was....
I was anyone but my true self. Since I was a little girl I wanted to become someone else. I wanted to become Lara Croft.
When the time came for me to go to College I told my family that I wanted to go to the Military Academy.
As I was full of surprises since I was a child this was no exception. When the shock wore off I got full support from everyone so after 4 years of study I finished the Military academy and became a second lieutenant.

The day I got my first rank
Soon after I finished my College days I decided that Army was not the kind of life I wanted to live and I quit my job. The relief that I felt was out of this world.
By the way, my family was shocked once again.
After I left it I decided to pursue my other passion - Fitness. I got a job in the gym next to my home and started to learn about the human body and Nutrition. After many years of being a Personal trainer (I finished a few courses in Fitness and Nutrition but most of all I got my knowledge from my husband) I started to see all the vanity and everything that wasn't me but was the core of being a Fitness model and Personal trainer.
You probably noticed that in the last 10 or so years everyone has become a Personal trainer even though they are far from it. I wasn't the person who could sell stuff like "grow your booty in 3 days" just to take your money and a real solution to most people's problems was too difficult for most of them. On the other hand, there were others who offered an easy "way" out of the problem. That just wasn't me, not then, not now, not ever.
I went from someone who enjoyed working out to someone who can't stand most of the people who are in the fitness industry.
Another thing that bothered me was that I started to pay more attention to the way I look than how I feel, think, and act.
Back then I used to look like this:

This is me still not happy with my looks.
Also not good enough...
I was constantly focused on my flaws and what was "not good enough". Working with so many clients and growing dissatisfaction with who I was I needed a break from that world.
Soon I gained weight and dropped everything on that topic for some time (I am going to share my fitness journey in other posts and share advice along the way).
I switched jobs again and started working in the security branch once more but this time Army was not the option and I knew that it was just another phase until I finally found something I really enjoyed doing.
Turning Point....
This is a subject which I am going to leave for another post as it is such a huge and important moment for me.
As for now, I am going to name a few things that changed:
My Age, I turned 30;
My hair color went copper;
Stopped being a people pleaser (still working on that one);
Worked on my childhood trauma (parents' divorce, missing father figure, "the world is just waiting for you"...)
The girl that is writing this post....
Who I am today is that little girl but this time I am not afraid to follow my wildest childhood dreams.
My name is Tamara. I am currently 31 years old and even though I am still working in the same place (not for long I hope) I am working hard on making my way to where I want to be in a few years.
My husband and I are in the process of moving to Germany. We are learning a language and preparing everything to leave our country and our old lives behind.
I dedicated all of my free time to my favorite activity and dream (I will reveal it when I am ready).
We are also bringing our pets with us (two cats and a dog).

This is Scooby. The name says it all...

Meet Ra (as of Amon Ra) - I am his favorite person and he holds a special place in my heart as well.

And this sleeping beauty is a girl cat named Bella. She is only a few months old...
Besides that one favorite thing to do that I mentioned earlier I enjoy traveling, reading books (Neville Goddard, Joe Dispenza... Just to name a few...), and some nice house decoration (love changing the complete look of my home once in a while :)), learning new things, fashion and the list goes on...
Final thoughts....
The reason I am starting this blog is that I want to share with you my journey, and I hope I can help someone. If just one person gets something useful out of my page it will make this a complete success beyond anything else.
I am also going to share my knowledge nutrition and training wise and whan I can't I will point a way where to seek help because there are still people who are not here just to take your money.
Hope to see your thoughts and if you have had similar experiences with making big changes in your life only to find your truest passion. What helped you the most along the way?
Viele grüße ;)...
Tamara
